2018 Tee-Off for Inclusion Golf Tournament

What a glorious day for a golf tournament!  It was perfect….not too hot, not too cold, and no rain.  Twenty-one teams teed off for the 11th Annual Tee-Off for Inclusion Golf Tournament at Timber Ridge golf course.  The weather may have helped  speed the play along as we finished  a little a head of schedule.

From L-R: Steve Picco, Joe Fenech, Del Cordeiro, and Norm Belyea.

We changed the format a little this year.  Everyone received a very nice gift in the tournament bag that they received at registration so we dropped the prizes down to 7 main prizes.  The winning team was Norm Belyea, Del Cordeiro, Joe Fenech, and Steve Picco and they were presented with autographed hockey jersies from members of the German hockey team, Pinguins, that Kris Newbury played for this past season.

Other winners were:

Putting Contest:  Owen Koets

Closest to the Pin:  Sandra Wade and Arnold Clarke

Longest Drive: Denise Lemmon and  Gino Leone

Closest to the Keg:  John Desloges

Bill Slimmon Award: Kris Newbury, John Meyers, Todd Brough, Randy Rowe

50/50 Draw:  Arnold Clarke who very generously donated his winnings back.

Rocking Chair:  Bill Lewis

Sony Open Hats:  Sam El Raheb

Next year we are going to a Friday so mark your calendars for Friday, June 07, 2019.  Start time will be around 11:00 am.  Check back for more information after the New year.

Wshing everyone a safe and enjoyable summer.

Annual Tee-Off for Inclusion Golf Tournament June 09, 2018

We have been very fortunate the last couple of years with the weather.  It was a perfect day to be out on the golf course.  The sun was warm, the course was green, the companionship was great, and the food was awesome.  Twenty-one teams teed off and met the challenges of the course head on.  […]
