"HOME" Housing Model

This model will impact identified housing issues.

Home can support Transitional aged youth with an intellectual disability moving from Childrens Services into Adult Developmental Services.

Home can support people with an Intellectual Disability if they become homeless and in need of a safe place to stay.

Home can support families and providers with a place for their son/daughter/friend to go for respite relief.

Home is a place where people can work on areas to help them stay living independently, connecting the appropriate services and provide a housing space to come learn a new skill or reach your goals.

Home can provide a place for a person with an intellectual disability who is inappropriately placed due to lack of housing.

What is World Down Syndrome Day?

World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) , 21 March, is a global awareness day which has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012.
